Hey Dad, I'm coming home!

Dad and son ( grade 8 grad)

It was  Sunday morning, Father's day when Patrick called " Dad, can I come home?".  What a wonderful Father's day present when his oldest son found his way back. You see, early this year was tough for all of us when he decided to drop out of school and move out. Jon was heart broken but he knew it would be for the best.  Their relationship was much better since then.  Like a prodigal son, he has to make his mistakes and learn from them.

My prayers were answered and I thank God for bringing him back to us.  I know it will not be an easy road for us but we will get through it.

Happy Thankful Tuesday!

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again,

Hugs,

Monica

Oh, yay!! And you're right, kids do need to make their own mistakes. When their parents always try to control them and tell them what to do, the kids become resentful. Good for you guys for letting him make his own mistakes. I know it's hard. We want them to learn from OUR mistakes so that they don't have to go through all that. But, they DO have to go through it. Very excited for you guys! Thanks for stopping by the S&R weekend hop!

What a wonderful testimony. Sometimes you just have to let go and let God...

Oh this is wonderful and sure is emotional for everyone. It's really tough to become parents but with God's faith any storm will sure calm down sooner or later.
